AI Dungeon 12+

If I were to sing this app any praises, I’d just be repeating others. To keep it short, it’s amazing, but I recently have had an issue with one of my worlds. It was my newest, and I wanted to change a minor detail about a race, so I did so. No matter how many times I modified and saved, though, nothing would change. The thing I wanted to do was mostly for flavor so I just got over it. Then I tried to delete an unrelated entry; didn’t save regardless of pressing both buttons. It no longer let me add custom info, either, so I couldn’t troubleshoot inconsistencies. Eventually I got tired of repeating and thought to create a new world and copy/paste 100 times until I got it onto another file. When I tried though, I went back to find my world description nonexistent in edit, despite being there on the screen. I was still able to play though. Eventually, I got tired of it and decided to delete the world, as due to the lack of troubleshooting I never got too attached. After deleting it, I go to another, older world of mine to play, only to find the description deleted in edit and all of my information on it gone. I can’t even QuickStart. I love this AI, but please help. I love this world and the others of my creation and I don’t want anything to happen to them. Thank you both in general and in advance.

I only have occasional minor issues the game is great, sometimes if you change screens to like a different app then come back you have to completely close it then get back in otherwise the words it types will be invisible but thats only a mild thing, otherwise I completely love this app, and it does everything great for the most part, although as I get more into it and figure out how a lot of the stuff works it makes me wish I could have it have just a little bit more memory, like I’ll write a hundred things in the author notes and the other 2 box things that the ai will use for its memory, and I’ll run out of space because its using memory on random stuff, like when the red triangle thing appears it says something about 20/20 memory things, and I go in there and its just got some random parts of the story committed to memory like eating a banana or some other thing, I kind of wish I could limit that 20/20 thing, so that I can tell it not to save more than like 10 random things about the story because when I look at the memory usage its always like: ok author notes is using like 200 memory, story notes is using this much memory, story cards using this much memory, then the AI memory is using like double what everything else is using on random things and I cant turn it down a notch, I can go in there and like delete a few things to make space, but then it fills itself back up with new random details after the very next prompt

Simply amazing. While there are some flaws, those are bound to happen. I have started playing a few years ago. Before there was an energy system, I think. The AI is really creative, although sometimes doesn’t acknowledge what you said, or misinterprets it. I once said “search the rest of the house” and the AI started to describe the room I was already in. I ‘examined’ the room before. It was word for word. I then tried “go to the next room” and it said “you leave the house and a mob of angry peasants rush after you” Although there are sometimes where it does outstandingly, like once I said “examine the hooded woman” and it said “You walk up to the hooded woman. You can see piercing scarlet eyes, with black hair. She appears to be some humanoid race as her skin is slight green. She had two large breasts. She appears to be in her late twenties. She looks like she can expertly use many bladed weapons”. Would I recommend this game? As it is right now, yeah, only if whoever I was talking to asks about a game like AI dungeons. If it gets more polished, and have fewer mess ups would i recommend it? Oh most certainly!

Also when in the ‘NSFW’ category/turn filtering off, it sometimes doesn’t do what you say, I can’t really give an example as it might be against Apples ToS. Let’s just say it’s not always the right orifice.
